Preciousmelove | Shipping Out Unique Fashion Items Made in Nagaland

Preciousmelove is an all girls team from Nagaland running a clothing and accessories business including dolls and vintage clothes. The team is led by Zuboni Humtsoe, a young dynamic entrepreneur and is supported by Humtsoe’s elder sister, Lozano Humtsoe. Zuboni is also the recipient of the prestigious ‘Nari Shakti Puraskar 2016’ owing to the success of PML and its role in empowering women involved with the project. The team at R&L sat down to interview the talented sister duo to know more about Preciousmelove’s work. About the founders: Zuboni, a political science graduate from Kalindi College, DU, is the proprietor of Preciousmelove, with a brief work experience at Convergys India which helped her understand the nuances of customer service. A dreamer like no other, she hustles and handles various facets of business from marketing, management, creative direction, content writing, designing, photography to public relations. Our discoveries of various creative minds from the state of Nagaland never cease to amaze us. Apart from being rich in culture, cuisine, heritage, folklore, and ethnicity, the Nagas have been taking the fashion industry by storm for quite some time now. Tina is an Arts graduate from Delhi University who returned to Dimapur after a brief stint in Delhi at Jupiter Capital. Tina is currently fully invested in Skin Concepts. We met up with shoe designer Keren Longkumer, who is one of those brave young talents from the Northeast India. Keren was born in Medziphima, lived in Kohima for a few years, and finished her schooling in Sanawar, Himachal Pradesh.  She then went on to Los Angeles to study shoe design, where destiny worked its magic. This is where she met another budding artist, Valerie Quant, who shared her passion for unconventional forms, proportions, materials and attention to detail. Meet Asibu – Maker of Glamorous Jewellery

Lately, we have been witnessing some pretty awesome jewellery designers coming up from every corner – especially from the vibrant state of Nagaland. And we’re very proud to showcase each and every one of them. One of the most recent one to join the growing band of upcoming jewellery entrepreneurs is Asibu Yhoshu Peseyie, an NIFT graduate.
