Women we love!!!

“If you work hard enough and use your imagination, you can shape the world and be able to create what you desire. I love going to work everyday (I’m a civil engineer) – it keeps me strong and independent. Plus, I love to travel. My next destination – hopefully Bhutan!”

I’m a Software Engineer in Silicon Valley| Tali Lkr

Say hello to Tali Lkr – born and brought up in the small town of Kohima in Nagaland, and currently working in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley) California. He is a software engineer and works for a company that delivers SaaS (Software as a Service) services. Ain’t it pretty cool to be working in the valley where you have all the tech giants and the hottest startups of the world? It is very motivating and inspiring to see small town people going this far. He signs off with his wish that …

Graduation Day

“Pursuing my PhD was not easy but it was well worth it. I remember the long hours of research, sleepless nights, tears of frustration at times, and even the thought of giving up. CONGRATULATIONS and CHEERS to all who have  been conferred as ‘Dr’.

So, we caught up with a friend , Temsumongla  – from across the miles to share her wedding story with us……. How did you meet your husband? I met him about a  year and three months ago, when he came home (Dimapur) on one of his few holidays to India. He has been working abroad for a while and we had never met before until this time. My now mother-in-law somehow pulled it off trying to introduce  the two of us and that is how it all started – very simple and little hassle to say the least. When did you get married? Your wedding theme? Were you nervous? It was the 9th of Dec’ 2015 at 7 in the morning and I was everything but nervous. The ninth of December turned out to be a blessing. The floral vintage themed decoration, the Naga food, the people, the weather…oh boy! I couldn’t have asked for more. …
