“Meet my 5-year-old pet, Zoozoo. I still remember the first day when I got him, he was barely 3 to 4 months old but he was already very active and hyper. As he grew up, we had to face some challenges regarding his health because of the weather in Delhi and it was really hard to see him go through all the difficult times, but things got better as he got accustomed after a year or more. I have taken him along with me – on my travels outside Delhi and he’s a great companion; no issues so far since he has been trained and all that. Whenever he wants to do anything, I would always know through his actions.  Zoozoo loves to meet new people and like any other pets, he loves to get attention too, but he is not very friendly with other pets and that’s the biggest drawback when it comes to me taking him along to a friend’s place who has pets. It is also important to carefully choose the right food to eat, something nutritious. So today, we have one from the many healthy breakfast items, “Baked eggs in hash brown with bacon” – contributed by Raman Okram, a student and a passionate cook from Manipur. “Hash brown is a dish made with chopped potatoes, typically with onions added. Make sure to squeeze all the juices out of potato and onion to get the crispy outer layer, then fry until brown. And what could be better than a hash brown topped with baked sunny side up. Also, the fun part of preparing this food is – you could either use bacon, sausage, ham or anything that you like for topping. “I’ve been working as a flight attendant for six years now and being away from family to earn myself a daily wage has not been easy. I was on duty last Christmas so it was awful not to be home for the best season of the year. But I was happy enough to be granted some leave during the month of January so I was very excited to pack my bags and leave for my hometown, Nagaland. This picture was taken on the 9th of January at Showuba village, located in Kuhoboto Tehsil of Dimapur district in Nagaland, India. It is situated 20km away from the sub-district headquarter Kuhuboto, and 10km away from district headquarter Dimapur. It was my sister’s engagement day so the entire family had come to celebrate the occasion over an outdoor gathering and food.
