  • Introduce us to your work. What got you interesting in singing and music?

“I always had that zeal to sing when I was young, but I never really had the courage to stand in front of others. The initial stage started with practices done at home and a had a breakthrough moment when I sang ‘The Call’ by Regina Spektor at our school farewell.”

  • How have your roots and upbringing influenced your work or working style?

With no mentor or music class, I practiced on my own. Initially, I was influenced by our local singers such as Virie, Zaza and MJ Jamir who has the same upbringing.

  • What’s your creative and work philosophy? Where do you take inspiration from?

I am more fascinated with contemporary and old sad songs. I feel this genre can move a soul deeply. Music to me has it’s beginning from my creator, God and all glory and honor are due to Him.

  • What do you hope people take away from your songs?

I hope people connect with the songs I perform as much as I connect to it while presenting it.
