Na Lemtur – Nagaland’s Hottest Fashion Photographer Right Now

We chatted up Temsuna Lemtur (aka Na Lemtur) who is currently creating rifts in Dimapur, Nagaland with her fashion photography. Lemtur decided to gain a better insight into photography after leaving Delhi, where she worked as a freelancer for a while. Almost at the same time her younger brother Moanungsang Lemtur aka Shinobi (who we covered a short while ago) was finding a footing in the creative design arena. #ArtistSiblings for the win! Na Lemtur’s creative journey since then has taken her places and to newer heights. Here’s presenting the pretty and very talented, Na Lemtur. Why did you choose photography as a career option? Photography just happened to me and I went with the flow. There definitely wasn’t a “eureka” moment as such but my interest in photography developed alongside my growing interest in fashion. Wedding | Recap of my wedding day

Often our friends would ask us about how weddings happen in Nagaland. Whether it was mostly about love or arranged marriages. So, we caught up with a friend , Temsumongla  – from across the miles to share her wedding story with us……. How did you meet your husband? I met him about a  year and three months ago, when he came home (Dimapur) on one of his few holidays to India. He has been working abroad for a while and we had never met before until this time. My now mother-in-law somehow pulled it off trying to introduce  the two of us and that is how it all started – very simple and little hassle to say the least. When did you get married? Your wedding theme? Were you nervous? It was the 9th of Dec’ 2015 at 7 in the morning and I was everything but nervous. The ninth of December turned out to be a blessing. The floral vintage themed decoration, the Naga food, the people, the weather…oh boy! I couldn’t have asked for more. …

White Aisle | Wedding and Event Planner from Nagaland

Tell me about it – I’ve had friends who would plan their wedding ever since their senior school days. Everything seem so well planned – from their wedding dress, wedding song, food and for some, even the vows. But when the day really came for them, I’ve had more phone calls and 11th hour – 1 AM conversations with the frantic bride-to-be asking the same question: ‘Can someone help me out in the planning?’ Most of us here come from huge families so planning a wedding do involve a lot opinions, choices and more confusions – so the whole process is often chaotic and painful! I think that’s why God brought in ‘wedding planners’. They don’t just take care of your wedding day to the last detail, but also give you peace of mind and ample time to prep yourself up for the wedding. Win-win! I have a friend who is an event planner, and heads a event management team – called White Aisle. It’s just so satisfying to see her helping out a lot of people plan their …
