Hello Chaitanya, good to have you here today! Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi my name is Chaitnya Sharma aka SlowCheeta. I’m a rapper and actor from Mumbai and I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years now. I just turned 30, and it has been a hell of a ride!

Why did you choose music?
I always wrote poetry as a child. Pretty random stuff. ‘My mother’, ‘My father’, ‘my brother’, ‘my Country’.
“Music was always one of the biggest influences of my life and it was something that could change my mood like nothing else. I always dreamed of having that ability – to be able to influence or inspire someone without knowing or meeting them ever.”

How has your roots/upbringing influenced your music or working style?
I was born and brought up in Mumbai. I’ve always lived by the sea, loved staying up at night and hence there are a lot of references to the sea and black skies in my music. My work philosophy is to be able to be proud my myself and my work. My own validation is the only validation I seek. The day I don’t have that I’ll have to reinvent. I take inspiration from anything and everything because I like to be constantly inspired.

What do you hope people take away from your Music?
Every song has a piece of me. I hope that in every song my listeners find a piece of them. That creates a bond like no other. I hope to spread happiness and awareness through music. Two things our world really needs.

Tell us about your latest song/album?
My EP ‘ROK NAHI PAAYEGA’ just dropped. It’s a special one. It’s my first as well. It’s got three tracks with three very different vibes. Each addressing a different belief within me. I’ve collaborated with incredible talents, and I believe it’s all come together incredibly. Do check out!
