R&L: Who inspired your new look?
Vareyar Rimai: Honestly I didn’t have anyone specific in mind when I decided to switch up my look. I was just like, stuck at home during the lockdown for way too long and thought why not try growing out my hair? It’s been over a year since I last hit up a salon anyways. I guess you could say I get a lot of inspo from scrolling through Insta, YouTube, and Pinterest though.

R&L: What are the three basics everyone should own to have an easy stylish outfit every day
Vareyar Rimai: Well, if you ask me, a fresh pair of white kicks, some dope jeans or comfy pants, and a few sick tees or hoodies are always a good go-to. But honestly, I’m more about looking clean and put together than trying to follow the latest fashion trends. That’s just how I roll, you know what I mean?
-
R&L: What’s your fav sneaker brand? And which one are you eyeing right now?
Vareyar Rimai: I gotta say, both Adidas and Nike have some sick kicks. But personally, I tend to lean more towards Nike. Although I gotta admit, I’ve been checking out some New Balance kicks lately and they’re pretty sick too, not gonna lie 😅
Thanks Vareyar for the lovely chat and for spilling your style secrets! 😉 Enjoy this video from Vareyar’s favorite ban ‘Avora Records’ from Mizoram
