Spotting Fashion at the Ziro Festival of Music 2017

The  Ziro Festival of Music that happens every year in Arunachal Pradesh is one of the most popular music festivals in India. It’s mainly known for three things : Music, The Location (the scenic beauty of Ziro guys!) and the Fashion. It’s a beautiful coming together of musical talents from across the country and beyond – and lovers of Music, Nature, Travel and of course Fashion! Can we call it the Coachella of India already? Here’s a snapshot of the sartorial sightings from the festival that was held from 28th Sept to 1st Oct 2017.

Yanam from Arunachal wore a self-made floral dress over a black knitted top – completing the look with black sneakers.

“I have been attending the Ziro Festival of Music for 4 consecutive years now. This year, I decided to spend some time exploring the vicinity areas – including the paddy fields and bamboo groves, before making my way to the festival site. I chose to wear a self-made floral dress with a knitted top to keep me warm and sneakers to make sure I could walk around comfortably” ~ Yanam

“We had the best time ever. The festival had an amazing vibe – combining the music, the landscape and the people in this beautiful location! So many colors in one place. Must visit for everyone!”

“I chose to dress very casual, so that I could enjoy every bit of the festival – from dancing in the crowd to jumping in the muddy grounds. ZMF is a must visit, and it should be on everyone’s bucket list. It makes you fall in love with music and nature’s beauty all over again – with it’s mellow vibes and contagious energy! ” ~ Linda

“I come to the north east every year from hectic shooting schedules in Mumbai only to relax and let loose, so these are my vacation clothes. Super comfortable, yet chic. The headband came on because of the super chilled out vibe of the festival and the place itself and also because I’m a sucker for them. The whole outfit just came together with the surroundings because of the gumboots- that came handy for the unexpected rains. They simply added some festival pizazzz to my overall look.”

Actor and MTV VJ from Mumbai, Barkha spotted with a jumpsuit, a pair of yellow gumboots, a head band, sunglasses and black cami top.
