Today, we have Holoti Yetho, a 14-year-old girl from Maple Tree who loves dressing up and taking inspiration from her k-pop idols; and Sungjemlila Longkumer who loves to make a fashion statement everyday!

• Summer is here, and we are sure you are ready for the season. How well have you prepared for it?

Summer, a season that can make us feel all sweaty leading to dehydration. This summer, both Holo and Sungjem are making sure to keep themselves super hydrated and not forgetting their sun blocks. They are both hyped for this season in their comfortable yet chic outfits.

• Can you share some of your favourite summer trends that you will be rocking this season?

It’s about being all dolled up, says Holoti. In her words, “I love wearing summer dresses and floral prints. Flowy dresses and floral clothes are my favorites and is definitely a trend I’ll be rocking this season”.

On the other hand, Sungjem picks softer tones with her cotton and comfortable picks. “I plan on going with cotton and light coloured clothing especially in the form of off-shoulders”.

Holoti wears floral-printed blue dress, looking fresh and perfect! She pairs the dress with a pair of nude heels and a black sling bag.

Sungjemlila likes to pair her summer looks in a light-toned clothing and cotton off-shoulder is one of her go-to summer outfit!

• One of your favourite summer outfits that you can never really get tired of?

Sungjem brings her favourite outfit together by pairing her all time favourite off-shoulder and matching it with a skirt. She says, “I just really adore off-shoulders and it’s something that gives off summer vibe. Along with that, my summer looks are incomplete without some skirts. My favourite is definitely those two”.

• This season is all about our play with colours. What’s your say on that and how will you incorporate it in your look?

Holotoli : I love incorporating bright colours in my outfit. Colours are refreshing and youthful and summer gives a great excuse to wear as much colour you could possibly want. A bright coloured top or a dash of colour in an otherwise dull outfit really uplifts the mood of the whole outfit. Most of my outfits consist of a bright coloured top or a colour filled dress with an accessory to match it.

Sungjem : Colours can play a big role even in making our moods and summer being such a vibrant, cool and youthful season, I would love to play with all the colours.

• Lastly, some words from you for our readers to remember while facing this season.

Holoti : Always be comfortable in what you wear. Use your clothes as a way to express yourself and experiment with different styles to know what suits you best.

Sungjem : Keep yourself hydrated and don’t forget your sunblock! And about clothing, just enjoy and play with your wardrobe. Stay happy!
