The much-awaited Hornbill International Music Festival has officially kicked off on the 1st of December at Agri Expo site, 4th mile Dimapur, Nagaland. The music festival will carry on till 10th while the Rock Contest will start from 5th to 8th of December. Four bands from Nagaland and 20 visiting bands have been selected through the audition for the Rock Contest, 2018. The ten-day long music festival will altogether have 24 bands which include 5 bands from Nagaland.
The opening day witnessed 5 renowned bands from Nagaland, namely – Cosmic Impact, Annie’s OK, Avancer, Papersky and Lords of Rock, and saw about a good number of enthusiatic crowd as well. The second day titled “Praise Sunday” saw a number of soulful performances by various Christian artists such as Tali Angh, Beyond Sunday, Jack Pucho & the Warehouse Worship and Power Faith. Apart from the concert, 32 stalls were also set up to satisfy the hungry tummy of the people that attended the show on day 1.
Below is a lineup of all the amazing artists who will be performing at the Hornbill International Music Festival (HIMF) 2018, in Dimapur Nagaland. Plus, day-wise schedules from Dec 1-10. Tickets will be available at the venue. Entry fee Rs.100 every night except for Dec 4 (when KPOP band MONT will be performing!), which will be Rs. 300 per person. Lords of Rock is a classic rock band from Dimapur, Nagaland.
“Annie’s ok” is a classic rock band comprising of a group of childhood friends.
Avancer is an Indie / Rock band from Dimapur, Nagaland.

Beyond Sunday is an Indie Pop – rock band from Mokokchung, Nagaland.
Jack Pucho and the warehouse team is a group of worship leaders, worship pastor, songwriter, artist, technician and musician. Together they produce amazing gospel music.
“Power Faith” – A group of young believers and gospel musicians
Tali Angh is a singer-songwriter, an artist and a worship leader.
“City of lights” is a song from Tali Angh’s debut album “Take it slow”.
K-Pop band MONT (trending worldwide and another K-Pop star in the making!) is going to perform as a part of their pre-debut concert on the 4th December, at the “Hornbill International Music Festival”, 2018 Dimapur, Nagaland.
The selected bands of Rock Contest from Nagaland include; UDX (Dimapur), Since 90’s (Dimapur), Yellow Beacon (Dimapur) and Switchblade (Kohima). While the selected 20 outside bands include; Moongphali (Delhi), Vishnu (West Bengal), Snuffer (Assam), Skvi (Mizoram), Perfect Strangers (Bangalore), Her Illegal Practice (Sikkim), Vikrit (Jharkhand), Tripp Pilots (Mumbai), Kroashia (Mizoram), Meraki (Kolkata), Granite Yard (Sikkim), Ambush (Assam), Tyrrhenian (Assam), Lost Icons (New Delhi), Rongbin the secret realm (Assam) , Quiet battle (Meghalaya), Looking glass (Maharastra), Existence (Jharkhand), Pralaya (West Bengal) and Highway 69 (Jharkhand).
