“When it comes to styling my winter outfits, I like to stick to my own aesthetics which is mostly semi-formals. I’ve recently come to love lavender and lilac colours, and I’m in love with this coat. I try to not use more than two colours, so I chose a brown turtleneck and a brown pleated skirt. When it comes to shoes, I always choose comfort since my job requires me to move around a lot. I styled a comfortable pair of sneakers here.”

My green woolen cotton overcoat:

I have always wanted to wear an overcoat which fell below my knees and I know it’s not so proper for a short guy like me, but I really love the aesthetics of those 1950’s Hollywood actors who wore an overcoat on top of their formal ensemble with a hat. So this green overcoat reminds me of that era. It is a double breasted overcoat, made from 60% wool and 40% cotton so it is heavy thus making it suitable for a place like Kohima. Design wise it’s aesthetic is clean with only two front buttons and a belt, it really looks like a robe if you asked me. It is one of my best finds so far as it is thrifted and got it at a cheap rate. I can’t wait to try it in a different styles maybe give a different twist to it maybe wear it casually. With this overcoat, the possibilities are endless. “
